The 2026 Product Testing Report
How teams test product quality.
We asked product and design teams how they judge usability, test AI products, and decide what to improve.
We held over 40 conversations. The report draws on 28 recordings from April–August 2026: 22 campaign interviews and six earlier interviews.
The full report explains which calls were included and what the findings can tell us.

About the research
By Antoni Gruca and Łukasz Pszenny, co-founders of Unblo.
The 28 recordings total 15 hours and 33 minutes. We spoke with product managers, designers, founders, researchers and an engineering and product leader. The format and follow-up questions varied.
All counts and participant accounts come from 28 recorded conversations: 22 from July–August and six from April–May 2026.
The focus is product quality and user experience. QA and bug detection appear where they support that work.
These are individual accounts, not a representative market survey. Names and employers are kept private. Participant accounts are paraphrased, with translations from Polish where needed. The full report explains the methods and limitations.
