Terms of service.
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These terms describe use of the Unblo website, invited app access, and our software-testing service. Customer service begins under an agreement accepted by the customer's authorized representative. Visiting this website, requesting a test, or opening a shared report does not by itself sign a customer service agreement.
Questions: contact@unblo.com. Research participation has separate study terms.
The agreement
The service is provided by Unblo, Inc., 2810 North Church Street, STE 89705, Wilmington, DE 19802, United States. The customer is the organization named in the accepted service agreement. Its representative must have authority to commit that organization, and all account holders must be at least 18.
We present the applicable terms with the customer agreement for signature, including through DocuSign. These terms apply to the service when that agreement incorporates them. A negotiated agreement or order takes precedence over these general terms where they conflict. An applicable data processing agreement takes precedence on the processing of customer personal data. Our privacy policy explains our information practices; it does not replace customer instructions or contractual acceptance.
What Unblo provides
Unblo uses product context and supplied materials to create simulated test users and tasks, operates browsers in the agreed environment, and reports what happened. Reports may include findings, screenshots, recordings, and other evidence available through the service. We may help set up and explain a test.
Your first test. The first test is free. During the first call, we agree the task, access, scope, timing, and deliverables, then record the agreed scope before work starts. Your first test includes a report and founder walkthrough. A request does not automatically start testing, and a free test does not automatically convert into a paid service.
Pilot scope and duration are agreed with the customer. We do not currently offer a paid checkout or automatic subscription. Any future fees, taxes, payment dates, renewal, cancellation, or refund arrangements must be expressly agreed before a paid service starts. These terms do not introduce automatic renewal or a payment obligation on their own.
Accounts and permitted use
Keep account credentials secure, use individual accounts for authorized team members, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. The customer is responsible for managing its members and keeping its contact details current.
Use Unblo for its intended software-testing purpose. Do not bypass access restrictions, interfere with our infrastructure, access another customer's information, submit unlawful material, or use the service to attack or disrupt systems. Do not resell access to Unblo without our written agreement. These restrictions do not prevent activities that applicable law expressly permits and does not allow us to restrict.
Test access and instructions
You authorize Unblo to use the accounts, environments, files, and integrations you provide within the agreed test scope. You must have permission to authorize that access, including permission from the operator of any third-party system. Possession of credentials does not by itself establish that permission.
Use a staging environment and dedicated test accounts where possible. Identify production use, account privileges, usage limits, third-party charges, and any actions that could affect real people or data. Purchases, external messages, deletion, and changes to real accounts must be expressly within the agreed instructions; access to an environment alone is not blanket authorization for those actions.
You are responsible for the safety and permissions of the environment you supply and for charges caused by actions you authorize. We remain responsible for acting within our agreed instructions. You can ask us to stop testing or withdraw access. We may pause work when authorization, safety, or scope is unclear.
Customer material and deliverables
You keep your rights in the product, files, instructions, credentials, and other material you supply. You grant Unblo the limited rights needed to process that material and produce the agreed service, using the providers required for the work. You are responsible for having the rights and legal basis to provide it.
Subject to any rights in third-party material, you may use, copy, adapt, and share the reports and deliverables supplied to you, including for your business. To the extent Unblo owns rights in those deliverables, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license for those purposes. We retain our rights in the Unblo platform, reusable software, methods, templates, and brand. AI-generated material may not be unique or eligible for exclusive intellectual property protection.
We do not train or fine-tune models on customer material. Retaining customer examples for internal evaluation or prompt development must be covered by the customer's instructions and permissions; these general terms do not grant an unrestricted right to reuse confidential or personal information. Anonymous, aggregated statistics may be used to improve the service. Public use of your name, logo, quotes, screenshots, or customer-specific results requires your agreement.
We may use feedback you voluntarily give about Unblo to improve the product without payment, but that does not remove confidentiality or privacy obligations attached to the underlying material.
Confidentiality and personal information
Each party will protect the other's non-public business, technical, and customer information with reasonable care and use it only for the agreed purposes. Access must be limited to people and service providers who need it and are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations. Unblo's internal access is limited to authorized personnel bound by confidentiality obligations.
Confidentiality does not apply to information lawfully known without restriction, independently developed, received lawfully from another source, or made public without a breach. A party may disclose information when legally required and will give notice where legally permitted.
These duties continue for three years after the relationship ends. Trade secrets remain protected for as long as they qualify as trade secrets under applicable law. Personal information remains subject to applicable data protection duties for as long as it is held.
The service is not intended for sensitive personal information. Discuss any need to process health, financial, identity-document, or children's data with us before supplying it. A customer's personal data is processed under its documented instructions and any applicable data processing agreement. This service does not include an EU-only processing commitment.
Reports, shared access, and service limits
A report records what simulated users did in the tested environment at a particular time. It may contain incomplete or incorrect AI-generated findings. Review the underlying evidence before relying on it. Reports do not guarantee that a product is defect-free, secure, compliant, or suitable for every user, and do not replace testing with real people where that is needed.
Choose report recipients carefully. Public-link access can be used by anyone who obtains the link. Revoking a link cannot retrieve copies already received. Recipients should use a report only as authorized by the customer and respect any confidential or personal information it contains.
We use Resend to deliver email notifications of demo, first-test, and research-report requests to our team. Delivery can be delayed, filtered, or interrupted by email providers. If you do not receive a reply, contact contact@unblo.com. Our privacy policy explains the information shared with Resend and how email records are handled.
Unless a signed agreement says otherwise, the service is provided as available, without guaranteed uptime, response times, turnaround, accuracy, or a particular business outcome. We may maintain or change the service. Support requests go to contact@unblo.com. Third-party availability can affect tests and reports.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing excludes a duty or remedy that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Ending or pausing the service
The service runs for the period agreed with the customer. Unless a signed agreement specifies otherwise, either party may end a free test or pilot by written notice. You may stop using the service at any time; this does not cancel obligations separately agreed for a fixed term.
We may suspend or end access for a material breach, unlawful use, a security risk, or discontinuation of the service. Where a breach can reasonably be fixed, we will ordinarily give notice and an opportunity to fix it. Immediate action may be necessary to protect systems or people or comply with law.
When service ends, the right to use the app ends. You may keep and use deliverables already supplied under section 5. Contact us before the end if you need copies of reports or other customer material; any additional handover arrangements are agreed for your service. These terms do not promise continued app access or a fixed export window after termination. Retention and deletion follow the privacy policy, applicable customer instructions, and legal requirements.
Responsibility and liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, lost business opportunities, or loss of anticipated savings arising from the service. Each party's total liability arising from the agreement is limited to the greater of the fees paid or payable for the affected service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and USD 100.
These limits do not apply to fraud, deliberate misconduct, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. They do not limit an individual's statutory data protection rights or a regulator's powers. A signed customer agreement may specify different limits.
If a third party brings a claim because customer-supplied material infringes its rights or because the customer lacked permission to authorize the agreed testing, the customer will cover reasonable resulting damages and defense costs, to the extent caused by that failure. This does not cover a claim caused by Unblo acting outside the agreed instructions or by Unblo's own wrongdoing, and it remains subject to the liability limits above. Unblo must notify the customer promptly, allow it to manage a reasonable defense, and cooperate at the customer's expense. Neither party may settle a claim in a way that admits fault or imposes an obligation on the other without that party's written consent.
Changes and general terms
The date above identifies this version. We will notify active customers of material proposed changes by email or with their next agreement. Posting new terms does not rewrite a signed agreement: changes to that agreement follow its amendment process. Changes requiring consent take effect only after that consent is obtained.
Unless your signed agreement states otherwise, Delaware law governs the agreement, excluding conflict-of-law rules, and disputes may be brought in the state or federal courts in Delaware. Mandatory rights, including any applicable consumer rights or rights to another forum, remain unaffected.
The accepted service agreement, incorporated order, applicable data processing agreement, and these terms form the agreement for the service. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue. A failure to enforce a right does not waive it. Neither party may transfer the agreement without the other's consent, except as part of a transfer of its business to a successor able to meet the agreement's obligations. Such a transfer does not remove applicable privacy duties.
Legal and service notices may be sent to contact@unblo.com, or to the customer contact identified in the agreement.
